Dr. Arthur Goren is Clinical Professor, Department of Cariology and Comprehensive Care, NYU College of Dentistry; Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Prosthodontics and Digital Technology, Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Oral Biology and Pathology, School of Dental Medicine SUNY Stony Brook. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral And Maxillofacial Radiology. Dr. Goren is a past director of the Division of Radiology, School of Dental Medicine SUNY Stony Brook. He also has over 60 articles published in peer reviewed journals and over 75 published abstracts. He has lectured nationally and internationally on Radiology, plus being a reviewer in Radiology for many dental journals. Dr. Goren also has chaired several committees in the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. He also has had several research grants.

Dr. Isabel Rambob received her doctor of dental surgery degree from the State University of Feira de Santana, Brazil in 1997. She completed a one-year Program in Advanced Education in Comprehensive Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry in 2007. She then pursued and completed a one-year Residency Program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Howard University College of Dentistry in 2008.She was the dental director at National Minority AIDS Education and Training Center from 2009-2010. She was a HIV/AIDS & oral health preceptor at Howard University College of Medicine from 2009-2010. She was the dental director at Health Care for the Homeless Maryland from 2010-2011. Currently Dr. Rambob is an assistant professor at University of Maryland School of Dentistryin the Department of General Dentistry; the course director of treatment planning II, the director of the Domestic Violence Survivors clerkship; a member of the committee on dental recruitment and admissions. She is also a guest lecturer at New York University College of Dentistry, Howard University College of Dentistry and VA Medical Center Baltimore. Dr. Rambob has been lecturing nationally and internationally, and has been extensively engaged in numerous community-based activities. She has been practicing as a general dentist for over 15 years. Her main interests in Dentistry are: oral health in vulnerable populations, cosmetic dentistry, cultural factors in patient management, emotional intelligence and patient satisfaction, and dental photography.

Graduated as a Medicine 1982 School of Medicine at the University of Valencia , 1986 Dentistry . In 1992, he defended his PhD thesis Univ. of Murcia Spain Employed at the Department of Oral Medicine, School of Dental Medicine, Univ. of Murcia Spain since 1989. sHe is Professor, Consultant and Oral Medicine , School of Medicine and Dentistry, Murcia University. She was Director of the Stomatology Department (Murcia University.). Co-authored 140 papers indexed JCR her research focuses on oral medicine, special dental care, auto-immune diseases, Pia Lopez has (co)authored more than 170 peer-reviewed scientific publications and many books.

Dr.Abou-Rabii has extensive experience in Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery and Implant Dentistry,he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1991 and his postgraduate Diploma in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1993. He obtained his Master of Research in Biology and Medicine from Joseph Fourier University in France in 1998 and his PhD in Dental Pharmacology from Auvergne University (France) in 2004. Dr Abou-Rabii has practiced implant dentistry and oral surgery for more than 15 years before joining the teaching staff as an Academic Course Director of the MSc of Implant Dentistry of the University of Warwick. Iyad Abou-Rabii is has a long experience in clinical and non-clinical multidisciplinary dentistry teaching and practicing, leading multiple researches in both biological and educational fields. He is a fellow of The Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics (IADFE) and the Immediate Past President of the PTT group in the International Association of Dental Research (IADR).

Dr. Bollen studied dentistry at the Catholic University in Leuven (Belgium). He graduated in 1992 (DDS). Afterwards he started immediately with his PhD research and his MSc-specialisation in periodontology at the same university. In 1996 he received his PhD (“Full-mouth disinfection and hard surface smoothening reduce the subgingival microbial load”). In 1997 he finished his MSc in periodontology (dep. Prof. Dr. D. van Steenberghe). From 1998 on, Curd Bollen combined his private clinic (limited to periodontology, halitosis and implantology) with part-time jobs at different universities in Europe. He was consultant at the universities of Leuven and Liège (Belgium), Nijmegen (The Netherlands) and Bonn (Germany). From 2010 till 2012, he was clinical assistant professor at the university of Düsseldorf (Germany). Dr. Bollen published more than 25 articles in peer-reviewed international dental journals. He is editor of 2 online dental journals. For the moment Curd Bollen has his private clinic, limited to several dental specializations, in the Netherlands. He is consultant for the Foundation for Oral Rehabilitation and for the French implant company Anthogyr. His actual research interests are: halitosis, short/wide and thin/long implants and peri-implantitis

Professor Carina Mehanna Zogheib graduated as a DDS from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon. She obtained a specialty degree in Operative Dentistry and a PhD degree. She is former head of department and currently director of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry Postgraduate Program at the Saint Joseph University and President of the Continuing Education Committee in the Lebanese Dental Association. She is a researcher, is involved in the undergraduate and postgraduate student programs. She has extensive experience in organizing training programs. She is an examiner for the Lebanese Ministry of Education, an OPL for many dental societies and gives lectures locally and abroad. She has national and international publications and is a reviewer and an editorial board member of dental journals.

Dr. Alex Iñiguez is PhD from Valencia University.He worked during 10 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry (Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals), in the Commercial and Medical Departments (Medical Advisor, MSL, European Medical Advisor), and during 5 years as Scientific Manager in the Oral-B Iberia Professional Team (P&G). His expertise covers Oral Health,Hypertension, Osteoporosis and Female Sexual Dysfunction fields.As of 2014 he is the CEO & Founder of SMILE International Consulting (www.smileic.com).

Mark Bowes spent 20 years in private practice in London focusing mainly on Aesthetic and Complex Restorative Dentistry. He was a member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and have been a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists from 1997. Since 2005 he have been in Private Practice in Cape Town where his practice is limited to Aesthetic Dentistry. In 2010 he founded the South African Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry for which he is now President. He is the Congress President for the World International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry ( IFED ) to be held in Cape Town 2015. He is also on the Scientific committee. He is the member and registered speaker for the ITI. He lecture extensively in Southern Africa on all aspects of Aesthetic Dentistry and run Restorative courses with the respected Implant Aesthetic Academy in both Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Associate Professor Leonie Short is the Discipline Lead for the Bachelor of Oral Health degree at CQUniversity, Australia. She has completed a Certificate in Dental Therapy from the Westmead School of Dental Therapy in 1977, a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the NSW School of Hypnotic Sciences in 1983, a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Education and Sociology from Wollongong University in 1986, and a Masters of Health Planning from the University of NSW in 1987. She is a registered dental practitioner, dental therapist in Australia,has numerous publications and research grants in excess of $1m. She is Treasurer and serves on the editorial board of the Australia and New Zealand Journal of Dental and Oral Health Therapy as well as on the editorial board of Australian Options.

Leonie is keen to progress the oral health therapy profession in terms of knowledge and skill development. She is a strong advocate for oral health therapists to assist patients and communities in the prevention, management and treatment of dental and periodontal diseases.

Boyen Huang obtained his DDS degree at Kaohsiung Medical University (Taiwan, 1994) and PhD degree in paediatric dentistry/dental public health at Queen Mary, University of London (UK, 2004), respectively. He is currently appointed as the Head of School of Dentistry and Health Sciences at Charles Sturt University.

Dr Sigal Jacobson maintains a private dental practice in Melbourne Australia. She has over 20 years of clinical experience and enjoys the pursuit of teaching and advancing the skills in conservative cosmetic dentistry. Dr Jacobson is the inventor of the patented UVENEERâ„¢ Dental Template System for creating direct composite veneers. The Uveneer was launched in February 2014 in Australia, USA and globally thereafter. Lise Slack is an International speaker, clinical dental hygienist, published author, inventor/developer/patentee of two oral care products and director of the charity i-Hope. The love of teeth comes from her dentist dad in South Africa which is also Lise’s country of birth and education. Lise spent five years in the UK working for SmithKlein Beecham promoting/distributing Amoxil antibiotics for prevention of dental bacterial endocarditis. At the same time Lise was in the project designing/marketing the brand/logos for Corsodyl Chlorhexidine Gluconate 2mg/ml antimicrobial mouthwash. Eleven years ago Lise, her husband and two young daughters immigrated to Australia where she continues the battle against periodontitis and peri-implantitis. Lise has written several articles on the long term maintenance of the periodontal health and dental implants. After three decades of data collecting from her patients she invented the unique X-Floss and XRibbon now available in several countries. Lise’s innovative character and passion for the work as dental hygienist has opened doors to see Lise speak/teach at international dental/hygiene conferences on implant/perio maintenance. Lise is an active member of the Dental Hygienists’ Association in Australia. Geoff Parkes is a founder and director of the Australian College of Dental Education. Dr. Kazuhiko Nakano completed his D.D.S. degree at Osaka University and received a Ph.D. from Osaka University. Later, he was appointed as Chief of the Outpatient Clinic of the Pediatric Dentistry Clinic, Osaka University Dental Hospital. More recently, Dr. Nakano became Professor of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Osaka University Graduate School of Dentistry as well as Head of the Pediatric Dentistry Clinic of Osaka University Dental Hospital. Dr. Nakano is a trustee of the Japanese Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and a member of the International Association of Dental Research. He has authored and co-authored many original research articles and clinical reports, as well as several book chapters in the field of pediatric dentistry and clinical oral microbiology.

Terry Whitty is the owner of Truline Dental, a Specialist Dental Laboratory in Sydney that he has run for over 21 years. He is a skilled technician and lectures regularly nationally and Internationally on a variety of subjects including Orthodontic Appliance Construction , Dental Material Science and Laser Welding. He is also the Technical editor for eLaborate Magazine, Australia's leading Dental technology publication which he has over 30 articles published on a variety of dental subjects.

Alex have over 20 years’ experience across multiple industries, from hands on IT between 1991-2000, to IT recruitment and owning/running to his own recruitment company from 2006. In 2014, utilising his experience gained both in the UK and Australia, with his business partner he formed Dental Prac Sales, a fully licensed business brokering company specializing in Dental Practices, citing a consolidation in the industry along with strong demand from both sellers and buyers, both local and from overseas. Dimosthenis Mantokoudis has completed his graduate studies at the University of Berne, Switzerland. After his doctor thesis in the field of Periodontology at University of Berne and several years in private practice he completed the postgraduate program of Prosthodontics at the Department of Prosthodontics, University of Berne and was appointed in the same department as an Assistant Professor and Research Coordinator. His activities, both in clinical practice and clinical research, cover the field of oral Implantology and implant Prosthodontics. Dimosthenis initiated with the support of the Global Microsurgery Foundation and in collaboration of the University of Hong Kong a novel type of postgraduate course in implant dentistry with the strong focus on clinical training in part-time delivery at a new purpose built teaching facility: The Australian Institute of Dental Education and Research - AIDER. He is currently Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and appointed from the Global Microsurgery Foundation as Chief Executive Officer of the AIDER.

Dr. Said has been teaching at the School of Dentistry since his January 6 arrival from the University of the Pacific’s Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry where he served from 2009 as associate professor in the Pathology and Medicine Department, and director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Laboratory and Clinical Oral Pathology and Medicine. He had previously served as the director of the oral and maxillofacial pathology laboratory at the University of Alabama, School of Medicine, Department of Pathology and at UAB School of Dentistry where he closely collaborated with the departments of otolaryngology head and neck surgery and oral and maxillofacial surgery. He has been managing clinical oral pathology/oral medicine patients for over 15 years. Dr. Said received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University's School of Dentistry and a Master of Science degree in oral biology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed two residencies in oral and maxillofacial pathology: one at the University of Illinois at Chicago and another at Long Island Jewish Hospital. He also completed an advanced Head and Neck/ENT pathology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. As part of his academic leadership and involvement, Dr. Said has spearheaded numerous research studies, has presented numerous national and international continuing education courses, is a member of 16 professional societies (including being on the past executive council of the North American Society of Head and Neck Pathology) and currently is on the council of the American Academy of Oral Maxillofacial Pathology. He sits on a dozen councils and committees (including past chair of the finance committee for The American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology), serves as a reviewer for eight academic journals that address oral, head and neck pathology, and sits on the editorial board of three other publications. He also serves on the American Dental Association’s National Board part II test construction committee. For personal and political reasons, Dr. Said left Iraq in 1985, after completing four years of dental training at the University of Baghdad College of Dentistry. He is most grateful to Marquette University School of Dentistry, Milwaukee, for accepting his translation of his personal transcript copies from Arabic—a trust that permitted him to begin dental school there as a freshman and earn his DDS in 1989. Dr. Said has a seven-year-old daughter, nine-year-old fraternal twins (boy and girl), and an eleven-year-old daughter. He expresses joy regarding his marriage to Neda, a stay-at-home pharmacist who spends much of her time guiding their four children through the early years and caring for Dr. Said’s elderly mother and father who have resided with them for the last 18 years. When life normalizes and some injuries heal, Dr. Said would like to resume playing soccer and practicing Martial arts.

Dr. S. Prabhu, Senior lecturer in oral bio-dental sciences is an oral pathology and oral medicine specialist with about 30 years of teaching experience in different parts of the world. Dr. Prabhu has published scientific papers in international professional journals and authored chapters and edited books in oral medicine, oral diagnosis and oral and maxillofacial anatomy/histology for dental undergraduate and postgraduate students. Dr. Prabhu is a Fellow of all four surgical colleges in the UK and Ireland and is an examiner for the membership examinations of the faculty of dental surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Scotland.

Neil O’Brien-Simpson has an interdisciplinary background, combining organic and peptide chemistry with microbiology and immunology to develop novel vaccines and therapeutics and investigating the immune response to pathogens. Thus his field of research is in chemical biology/immunology and host/pathogen (bacteria/fungi) mucosal interaction. He was originally trained in biological sciences and management at Edinburgh Napier University (Edinburgh, Scotland) and worked at I.C.I Chemicals and Polymers Division (Grangemouth and Runcorn) as a research organic chemist. In 1993 he was awarded an Overseas postgraduate research scholarship and a CRC for vaccine technology scholarship to study for his Ph.D at The University of Melbourne, Department of Microbiology and Immunology. During his Ph.D he was trained in peptide chemistry and immunology and developed in his thesis a method of producing a multi-valent peptide vaccine, which resulted in several publications and a patent. After being awarded his Ph.D he went to the Melbourne Dental School, The University of Melbourne, to do postdoctoral research with Eric Reynolds on the development of a vaccine against the bacterium Porphyromonas gingivalis a causative agent of periodontitis. At the Melbourne Dental School A/Prof O’Brien-Simpson has established a peptide/organic chemistry laboratory and a microbial-immunology laboratory to conduct research into AMPs, vaccines and bacterial immunity. He was part of a team in 2003 and 2009 that was awarded a Co-operative Research Centre grant for establishing the CRC for Oral Health Science and Oral Health CRC, respectively served as a Program Leader (2003-2009) and currently as a Project Manager for vaccine design and therapeutic development. For the past 3 years (2011-present) he has been a member of the Australian Dental Research Foundation (ADRF) research awards committee that awards grants and scholarships pertaining to oral and dental research. A/Prof O’Brien-Simpson has published over 50 peer reviewed journal articles and is an inventor on 11 patents, 6 of which have been licensed. Further his research into vaccine design and periodontitis has resulted in Neil being awarded: the Colgate Prize for Dental Research (1999), The IADR Hatton Award (2000) and the Oral Biology Award (2003). In 2003 he was awarded a CR Roper Fellowship and in 2004 he became program co-leader for the Novel Diagnostics, Vaccines and Pharmaceuticals Research Program in the newly formed Co-operative Research Centre for Oral Health Science.

He is currently engaged in several research programs, notably in Design, development and delivery of sub-unit vaccines, Understanding the mucosal immune response to bacteria. How microbes and their products e.g. outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) interact with mammalian cells. Synthesis of antimicrobial peptides to combat microbial infection and targeting antibiotic resistant bacteria. Nanomaterial and particles for vaccine and drug delivery.

Professor Paul Tipton is an internationally acclaimed Specialist in Prosthodontics who has worked in private practice for more than 30 years. He is the founder of Tipton Training Ltd, one of the UK’s leading private dental training academies and the author of over one 100 scientific articles for the dental press. He was voted in the Top 20 ‘most influential dentists in the UK’ by his peers in Dentistry Magazine in April 2012, the leading Prosthodontist in the poll and was voted in the top 5 dentists in Private Dentistry’s Elite 20 poll, January 2012.

Lynette Wallace graduated from University of Sydney in 1994 with Honours. She has been in private practice in Bowral since 1994. She takes a multi-diciplinary approach to patient care, studying both in the USA and Australia in orthodontics and neuromuscular dentistry and kinesiology. She is currently enrolled in the MClin Dent program with BPP University City of London. Her key area of interest lies in looking at the whole body physiological coherence and its links with mouthbreathing and dental caries, using biofeedback computer monitoring.

Dr. Yi-Hao Huang is the vice president of Dr. Signal Biotechnology. He is also the Director of Dr. Huang's Periodontology and Dental Implant Specialty Clinic, a part-time clinical instructor at National Taiwan University Hospital, Department of Periodontology, Taipei, Taiwan. He belongs to the scientific staff of the Laboratory for Applied Periodontal & Craniofacial Regeneration, Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, Georgia, USA since 2004. Dr. Huang is an executive officer of administrative commitees for Taipei Congress of Oral Implantologists (TCOI). Dr. Yi-Hao Huang received his DDS from Kaohsiung Medical University Dental School, Kaohsiung, Taiwan (1997) and an MS in Oral Biology from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA, USA (2003). He gives lectures frequently in great China region focusing dental implant and stem cell clinical applications.

Hatem A. Alhadainy, BDS (Egy), MSD (Restorative, Egy), PhD (Endo, Egy-USA), MS (Epidemiology, USA) is a professor and Chairman of Endodontic Department, Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University. His work was concentrated on Endodontic research with extension in periodontology and Epidemiology. Dr. Alhadainy finished his Bachelor (1982) and Master degrees (1989) from Tanta University, Egypt and PhD degree as a channel program between Tanta University and University of Memphis, USA (1995). He also earned a MS Degree from Colorado State University, USA (2006). He is currently the Chairman of Endodontics Department in Tanta University from Aug. 2013. He was course director of postgraduate courses for several years. Dr. Alhadainy published more than 40 researches in National and International journals and reviewed several articles for international journals. He also presented researches in several international conferences including: Memphis, Chicago, Dallas (USA), Damarcus (Syria), Budapest (Hungary), Florence (Italy) Sanaa (Yemen) and Egypt.

Dr. Nabeel Al Nahass is the Head of Department at the Super Dental Specialty Center, Ajman, UAE and has also been the Assistant Professor of Fixed Prosthodontics at the college of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University. He is the Consultant “A” for Fixed Prosthodontics. Dr. Nabeel Al Nahass has a promising career in Dentistry and has been Chairperson for various College and hospital Committees.

She has authored more than 250 scientific and clinical articles in peer-reviewed journals, has given over 400 presentations at international scientific meetings, is a frequent lecturer at scientific meetings, receiver of several international awards and has held numerous continuing education courses in Europe. She serves also for the editorial boards of several scientific journals. Her clinical expertise is on reconstructive dentistry. She has also Visiting Professor positions at various universities including São Paolo State University (Brazil), Federal University of Juiz de Fora (Brazil), University of Brno (Czech Republic), University of Madrid (Spain) and University of Florida (USA).

Dr. Jones received his DMD from the University of Louisville (1978) and completed a Residency in Pediatric Dentistry from Indiana University (1980). He obtained a Certificate in Dental Health Services Research (1989: Harvard University), EdD in Higher Education (1993: Indiana University) and PhD in Biological Sciences (2003: Empresarial University). He completed a United States Congressional Fellowship in 2000, with Senior Indiana Senator Richard Lugar, Washington, DC. He was Dean of the School of Health Sciences, Indiana-Purdue University (1993-2005) and is presently Professor and Chair of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, IU School of Dentistry and Clinical Professor of Pediatrics, IU School of Medicine. He has published over 95 articles, book chapters and research abstracts in the dental, medical and education literature and obtained over 6.4 million dollars in educational, service, training and research grants. He has presented over 140 courses in the United States, the Caribbean, Europe and the Middle East on a variety of topics related to higher education. He is Editor-in-Chief, Americas, Journal of Oral Health and Dental Management.

Dr. Marie M. Tolarova received her Medical Degree in 1965 from the Charles University School of Medicine in Prague. She completed a Ph.D. in 1970 with a thesis on Microforms of Orofacial Clefts from the Human Genetics Program at the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences in Prague. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Medical Genetics by the Czechoslovak Medical Board of Pediatrics and Czechoslovak Board of Medical Genetics. Dr. Tolarova completed a D.Sc. Degree in 1986 from the Medical Genetics Research Program at the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences. Her thesis was Cleft Lip and Palate in Man: Epidemiology, Genetics and Prevention. Dr. Tolarova started her medical career in 1965 as a pediatrician in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Charles University School of Medicine. She had developed a deep interest in genetics during her medical studies and in 1970, founded the Division of Birth Defects to take responsibility for genetic evaluations, counseling, and follow-up of all individuals with congenital anomalies, children as well as adults, who came to the Department of Plastic Surgery for surgical treatment. Since beginning of her professional career she was interested in understanding causes of cleft lip and palate and especially in prevention of clefts and other congenital anomalies. She established a population-based registry of orofacial clefts in the Czech Republic, containing detailed data on over 10,000 cases; the largest collected sample to date of children with clefts. Over half of these cases had complete genetic evaluations in her Department, including physical examinations of the affected children, both parents, and all siblings; she performed the majority of physical examinations. Since coming to the U.S., she also researched analyzed and published data on the largest population-based sample of orofacial clefts in USA - over 4,000 cases from California. Dr. Tolarova was involved in orofacial cleft prevention studies in the late 1960’s under the direction of Dr. Francis Burian, head of the Department of Plastic Surgery. She started her own research with periconceptional supplementation by high dose folic acid and multivitamins in the 1970s. The first data showing preventive efficacy of supplementation was published in the Lancet in 1982 and got enormous attention from professionals. The final analysis of her studies, which represent the largest human prospective trial to investigate the recurrence of orofacial clefts after periconceptional supplementation with high dose folic acid and multivitamins, was published in 1995 in Teratology, and showed that the recurrence risk for having another child with a cleft decreased by 65% if “at risk” mothers took multivitamins with a high dose of folic acid. Dr. Tolarova has over 450 scientific publications and presentations, has been the keynote and featured speaker at numerous scientific meetings, and has held over 20 visiting professorships worldwide. She has 47 years of clinical experience with cleft and craniofacial anomalies patients, thirty years of teaching experience of medical, dental and graduate students. She is Director of Genetic Research and Prevention of the ROTAPLAST Intl., Inc.; project being carried out in South America, India, Asia, and Africa. She participated as a pediatrician and medical geneticist in 50 Rotaplast medical missions all over the world. She is a founding member of the Society of Birth Defects in the Czech Republic and holds memberships in 15 professional organizations. She has received numerous awards, including the 1975 Award of the Medical Research Council, Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences, 1985 Award of the Czechoslovak Literature Council, 2005 Award of the Imperial Gift Foundation (Boshi, Aiiku Kai) Japan, 2007 Rotaplast Distinguish Service Award, 2010 Pierre Fauchard Academy Award, and 2011 Henry Schein Humanitarian Award. In 1992 Dr. Tolarova relocated to United States joining her husband MirekTolar, MD, PhD, who was appointed at UCSF in San Francisco. She joined the Center for Craniofacial Anomalies at UCSF School of Dentistry, held an appointment as a Professor and founded directed the Program for Prevention of Cleft Lip and Palate/Craniofacial Anomalies at the UCSF School of Dentistry UCSF. She also worked for the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation/California Birth Defects Monitoring Program. In March 1996 she organized the first workshop with international participation focused on cleft prevention “Approach to the prevention of orofacial clefts”. Since July 1999, she is with the University of the Pacific as tenure Professor of Orthodontics and leads the Pacific Craniofacial Team and Cleft Prevention Program. She established there a strong molecular genetics research toward finding causes on cleft in different populations and continues her effort to develop and established the efficient approach to prevent cleft lip and palate anomalies. In 2011 she organized and presided the 3rd ICPF International workshop CLEFT2011 held in San Francisco that was attended by over 250 participants from 30 countries. Dr. Tolarova has been honored with the International Cleft Lip and Palate Foundation (ICPF) Award of Merit which recognizes her extensive research on prevention of clefts. Tolarova received the award on May 9 during the 7th Biennial World Cleft Lip and Palate Congress hosted by ICPF and held in Mahe, Seychelles.

Dr. Kamis Gaballah is currently Associate Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Ajman University, UAE. Since graduation on 1993 Dr. Gaballah showed a great interest in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for which he was extensively trained and practiced in many countries including Libya, Egypt, Ireland, United Kingdom, Norway and UAE. During his surgical training he was awarded with the fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in both England and Ireland. Dr. Gaballah was also formally trained in Oral Medicine at the Trinity College Dublin of the Ireland. Up on his completion of the professional surgical training and practicing for several years in the field, he has joined the University of London for intensive and novel research on the cancer gene therapy. His research work focused on the use of the tissue engineering, virus-mediated gene therapy for head and neck cancer and oral potentially malignant lesions and also the inhibition of angiogenesis to prevent the recurrence of head and neck cancer in surgically treated patients. He has published his novel research outcome in highly-ranked journals and his papers were cited by significant number of authors all over the world. Mohamed Awad, BDS (Egy), MSc (Egy), PhD (Eng) is an Associate Professor, Fixed Prosthodontic Department, Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University, Egypt and Visiting Professor at King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. His work was concentrated on Fixed Prosthodontics researches. He published several papers at international dental journals. Dr. Awad is the president of Egyptian Association of Dental research section of international association for dental research since July 2010. He fi nished his Bachelor (1983) and Master degrees (1989) from Tanta University, Egypt and PhD degree from University Dental hospital of Manchester, United Kingdom in 1996. He was head of Fixed prosthodontics Department in King Abdulaziz University from Sept. 2003 for one year. He gave several courses to Saudi Board students and he was course director for fixed prosthodontics for preclinical and clinical courses for several years.

Mark Bowes spent 20 years in private practice in London focusing mainly on Aesthetic and Complex Restorative Dentistry. He was a member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and have been a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists from 1997. Since 2005 he have been in Private Practice in Cape Town where his practice is limited to Aesthetic Dentistry. In 2010 he founded the South African Academyof Aesthetic Dentistry for which he is now President. He is the Congress President for the World International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry ( IFED ) to be held in Cape Town 2015. He is also on the Scientifi c committee. Marie M. Tolarova, Professor and Executive Director of Pacific\'s Craniofacial and Cleft Prevention Program, has led the dental school\'s efforts to help individuals with cleft lip and palate for many years. She has produced extensive research regarding clefts and has taken part in dozens of International mission trips to help individuals with congenital anomalies. In 2011, Tolarova organized an International Conference in San Francisco which brought together surgeons, dentists, geneticists and others to work towards an effective approach to cleft lip and palate prevention.

Paul van der Stelt graduated as DDS in 1974 and has obtained his Ph.D. in 1979 from Vrije University, Amsterdam. He was appointed chairman of the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in 1982 and became professor in 1986. He was president of the International Association of Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology in 2007-2009 and was Honorary Secretary of the European Academy of Dento-Maxillofacial Radiology from 2004 until 2010. He has published more than 150 papers in peer reviewed journals and is serving as editorial board member on several scientifi c dental journals.

Anas H. Al-Mulla graduated from King Saud University Dental School, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2003. He obtained his Specialty in Orthodontics and his Masters in Cariology in 2009 from University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg, Sweden. His Ph.D. degree in Cariology was obtained from the same university in 2010. Dr. Al-Mulla has devoted his time for research and applying modern orthodontics, caries risk and prevention in orthodontic patients has been his major concern. He is a reviewer in few orthodontic journals, such as Angle Orthodontics, American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Orthodontics - The art and practice of dentofacial enhancement (formerly World Journal of Orthodontics) and Journal of Orthodontics.

Dr. Trotman received her dental degree from the University of Dundee, Scotland; a certificate in Orthodontics and MA (Oral Biology) degree from Columbia University, NY; and a MS (Clinical Research) from the University of Michigan. She has also completed Fellowships in Craniofacial Anomalies and Clinical Research and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Trotman has had an active research program throughout her career and her currently NIDCR-funded research efforts are focused on the outcomes of cleft lip surgery. She has published extensively, served on several NIDCR panels and study sections, and is a recipient of numerous awards and honors.

Evelyn V. Gopez is the Associate Vice President for Inclusion, Health Sciences at the University of Utah and the Chief Diversity Offi cer for the Health Sciences. She is also the Associate Dean in the School of Medicine, Offi ce for Inclusion and Outreach. Dr. Gopez oversees the recruitment, retention and promotion of faculty, students and staff in the Health Sciences, and the creation of programs and initiatives to facilitate the recruitment, retention and support of underrepresented minority faculty, students and staff. She has obtained her medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila Philippines. She obtained her residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Berkshire Medical Center in Massachusetts and didtwo fellowships in Cytopathology and Surgical Pathology at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. she has been in academic practice for 20 years, doing clinical service work, teaching medical students, residents and fellows in addition to her administrative functions are Director of Pathology Residency Program (2005-2012), Medical Director of Cytology Laboratory at ARUP (2009-2012), and Fellowship Director for Cytopathology (2009-2012). She is also a Fellow of the prestigious program at Drexel University called Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM).

Fazeli has obtained a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with highest honour from Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy in 2009. He has also completed a Clinical Ordinator Course in Prosthetic Dentistry at Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy in April 2010 and worked as a clinical assistant professor of prosthodontics in the department of Prosthetic Dentistry and Implantology of UMSA. Dr. Hani T. Fadel obtained his clinical certificate in Periodontology and his Ph.D from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. Dr. Carroll Ann Trotman is Professor and Associate Dean for the Office Academic Affairs at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She also is adjunct Professor at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where she maintains her research laboratory. Dr. Trotman's main research is on treatment outcomes. Specifically, outcomes of rehabilitative soft tissue surgery in patients with craniofacial anomalies, and three-dimensional modeling and quantification of soft tissue deficits and functional impairment.

Scott S. DeRossi received his D.M.D. from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine in 1995 and completed his post-doctoral training in Oral Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in 1997.
